Build an Army Make the lane pay
Distance, combat, damage spends — not clone-game codes or a 7,214 Robux panic buy.
Money in Build an Army is not a daily spin and it is not a code mill. LiveForFun’s tycoon pays you for a lane that walks and fights. Official copy says fight, earn money, and upgrade your troops every battle, and that your army keeps earning even offline. Both sentences are true only if an army actually exists, is deployed, and is not a smear of default infantry in front of a sergeant.
This page is the cash article. The click-by-click loop sits in How to Play. The first wipe sits in Getting Started. Spend order sits in the Barracks Guide.
Distance and combat income
Two things print cash: how far the army marches, and the fights it wins on the way. A line that dies at the spawn edge did not “play the economy.” It posed. A line that lives long enough to push into later ground — including, eventually, a volcano-looking region — is doing the job the shop is funding.
You cannot skip the march with a menu. Place troops, Deploy, and watch. If you Undeploy instantly, you converted a send into a screenshot. If you never Deploy, you are standing in a barracks with a decorative roster.
Combat payouts still require the line to be strong enough to finish the contact. Early sergeants melt weak infantry, which means the “fight, earn money” promise is gated by damage. Surviving the ambush is the income skill. Losing instantly is a rebuild cost.
Upgrade versus more units
The first spending fork is always the same: another infantry soldier, or a damage upgrade on the soldiers you already have. Footage of early play makes damage the main investment. Bodies without damage are a wider target for the same sergeant.
Buy more units when the current line can already win the contacts you see. Buy damage when the contacts are deleting you. That sounds obvious until the shop flashes a new silhouette and you spend the march’s entire payout on a second row of the same weak infantry.
Later, when rare and legendary stock with unique abilities shows up, the fork changes shape but not logic. A unique ability on a dead lane is still zero cash. Unlock timing is in How to Unlock Units. Ranking talk belongs on the Tier List and Players — without a fabricated 15-row price board.
Offline pay is not a second game
The official description is explicit: the army never rests, it fights and earns rewards even offline. That is a continuation of the same lane, not a separate idle minigame with its own multipliers.
Leave a living army deployed before you quit. If the last thing you did was watch a sergeant wipe the line, you earned nothing while you slept. Setup, failure cases, and the logout ritual are the entire Offline Earnings guide.
Do not treat offline as a reason to skip damage. A weak line that would die in 20 seconds online will not magically farm the volcano region because you closed the client.
Codes will not print this cash
As of September 2026 there are no widely confirmed public promo codes for LiveForFun’s Build an Army. Lists titled for Build ur Army, Build An ARMY!, Make a Army, or Command an Army are other games. Pasting them here would be fiction.
If a real code ever ships, it will land on the Codes hub with a reward and a date. Until then, cash comes from the lane. Update requests belong on the LiveForFun group wall, not in a comment begging for “FREE CASH” strings.
Gamepass caution
Nuke! is a public gamepass marked OP at 7,214 Robux. That is a real store row, not a rumor. It is also a terrible answer to “I am broke in the first hour.” If you enjoy spending Robux on an OP button, that is your budget. Do not confuse it with an earning strategy.
Sprint Permanent is offsale. You cannot buy it as a movement shortcut to “get more money.” Even if you own it from earlier, sprinting your avatar is not the same as the army marching farther.
Four-player servers do not create a shared piggy bank. Other commanders are present. They do not pay your upgrades.
Client tools that promise infinite money are a Scripts topic with account risk attached, not an economy guide. The legal way to print cash is still: survive, walk, spend on damage, repeat.
Spending mistakes that stall cash
The stall almost always looks like this: Deploy default infantry, die to a sergeant, buy more default infantry, die again, open a codes article for a different game, buy Nuke! in frustration or quit on a wiped lane. Break the stall with one damage tick you can actually afford, then a send you actually watch.
Camera panic is a stall too. If you cannot find Deploy, you cannot earn. Use Controls. If you cannot find the shop, you cannot spend. Use the barracks guide.
Patch notes will not invent a second currency for you. Read Updates when LiveForFun ships something; do not wait for a hidden shop.
The spending mistake that stalls cash is buying a second row of the same weak infantry because the shop is flashing. Damage first, then bodies, then wait for stock that actually changes the fight.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How do I earn money in Build an Army?
Deploy a living army so it marches and fights. Distance plus combat pays. The send itself is in How to Play.
Should I buy more troops or upgrades first?
Damage upgrades first in the early game. Extra weak infantry dies to sergeants. Spend order is in the Barracks Guide.
Do codes give free cash right now?
No confirmed public codes as of September 2026. Ignore lists for similarly named Roblox games. Details stay on Codes.
Is the Nuke! gamepass an earning method?
It is a 7,214 Robux OP pass, not a beginner money guide. Recover with barracks spends, not a panic purchase.
Does offline earning replace the march?
No. It continues a living deployed army. A wipe pays zero. Read Offline Earnings.
Will rare units print more cash automatically?
Only if they are placed, deployed, and alive. Unlock them by pushing the lane, as in How to Unlock Units.
