Build an Army Keep the army paid while you are away

Official offline fighting only works if the line is alive and still deployed.

Last updated:

LiveForFun’s own description is the rule: your army never rests — it fights and earns rewards even offline. That sentence is why people search this page. It is also why they get angry when they log back into a zero. Offline earnings are not a second idle game with a chest. They are the same lane, still running, with nobody at the camera.

If the last thing your army did was die to a sergeant, you did not “go offline.” You left a grave. This guide is the logout setup, the failure cases, and the honest limits. The live loop is How to Play. The cash math is How to Earn Money.

How offline actually works

While you are in the session, you place troops, Deploy, and the line marches for distance and combat pay. When you quit Roblox, that deployed line is what the official copy says keeps fighting.

We are not going to invent a hidden offline multiplier, a timed chest, or a cap number LiveForFun has not published. What we can say:

  • Offline pay is official, not a rumor.
  • It is army combat and rewards, not avatar wandering.
  • It requires an army that still exists.
  • It requires that army to be in a fighting send — treat Deploy as part of the logout, not an optional flourish.

If you Undeploy and then quit because the shop UI felt safer, you may have pulled the line off the job you wanted it to keep doing. If you are unsure, leave a living line deployed. That is the conservative reading of “it fights even offline.”

What to leave deployed

Leave a line that would survive the next contact you already saw online. Default infantry that melts to the first sergeant will not farm the volcano-looking region because you closed the laptop. Damage upgrades are still the main early investment; buy them before you quit, not after you return and notice the wipe.

Place every troop you are counting on. Unplaced barracks stock is not an army. Controls if you keep missing the place step.

Do not log out mid-rebuild. Buy, place, Deploy, confirm they are walking, then quit. A ten-second look down the lane is cheaper than six hours of zero.

Rare and legendary units with unique abilities are still units. They also have to be alive and sent. Unlocking them is How to Unlock Units; leaving them in the shop overnight is not offline play.

Why a wiped army earns nothing

A wipe is a wipe. Sergeants that delete weak infantry do not become polite because the owner is at school. If the line is gone, there is nothing to fight, nothing to march, and nothing to pay you.

The recovery is the same as an online wipe: barracks, infantry if needed, damage, place, Deploy. That is Getting Started plus the Barracks Guide. Offline time does not skip those clicks.

People try to patch a wipe with the wrong tools. Codes: none confirmed for this LiveForFun title as of September 2026 (Codes). Nuke! at 7,214 Robux: an OP gamepass, not an offline insurance policy. Sprint Permanent: offsale, and your avatar is not the army.

What offline will not do

It will not redeem codes. It will not buy the next barracks row for you. It will not rank units on the Tier List. It will not play the four-player social layer. Other commanders can be on the server; they are not your babysitters.

It will not protect you from a bad spend. If you logged out on a wide, weak infantry line because it “looked like an army,” you queued a sergeant highlight reel.

It will not replace watching a live send when you are trying to learn. New players should do one online march they actually see, then use offline as continuation. Jumping straight to “I will AFK the tutorial” is how the first session feels broken.

Client scripts that keep Deploying while you are away are a Scripts topic with ban risk, not an official offline feature. The official feature is already in the description.

Logout ritual that protects income

  1. Confirm the line is alive.
  2. Confirm damage you can afford is already bought.
  3. Confirm troops are placed, not just purchased.
  4. Confirm Deploy is on — they are marching.
  5. Then quit.

If any step fails, stay in the session. Thirty more seconds in the barracks beats an empty overnight.

When you return, do not assume you are rich. Spend what landed, replace losses, look at new shop rows, send again. Patch notes, if any, are on Updates and the LiveForFun group wall — not inside an offline chest UI we have never documented.

Logout ritual, said once more without the numbered list: living troops, deployed, damage already bought, you are not mid-wipe. Then quit. Anything else is a decorative army that pays you zero while you sleep.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does Build an Army earn money while I am offline?

Yes. Official copy says the army keeps fighting and earning. It has to be alive and deployed. The live send is in How to Play.

Why did I earn nothing while I was away?

Usually the army was already wiped, never deployed, or left undeployed in the shop. Rebuild with the Barracks Guide before you quit again.

Should I Undeploy before logging out?

Not if you want them to keep fighting. Leave a living line deployed. Undeploy is for restocking during a session, as explained on Controls.

Can I use codes or Nuke! as offline insurance?

No confirmed codes as of September 2026. Nuke! is a 7,214 Robux OP pass, not an AFK shield. See Codes and How to Earn Money.

Will offline progress unlock new units for me?

Only by earning cash a living army can spend after you return. The shop still needs you. Read How to Unlock Units.

Is this the same offline system as other army tycoons?

Do not copy rules from Make a Army or Build ur Army. This page only covers LiveForFun place 76904351006435. Start from Getting Started if you are new.
